Custom Scenes

The XSMP has a user-friendly bookmark manager for user scenes. It can be used not only for custom preview scenes, but also for other more frequently used scenes.
Scenes Bookmark Manager divided into four panels:
1. Bookmark categories list.
2. Scenes bookmarks list.
3. Scene status and info panel.
4. Bookmark description.
The full path to the scene file on the disk is displayed in the status bar.

Renaming or deleting a bookmark has no effect on the scene file itself.

In order to assign a file as a custom preview scene, you just need to select Set As Custom Preview Scene in the context menu. This scene bookmark will be displayed in bold font in the list.
Only one scene bookmark can be specified as Custom Scene at a time.

Custom preview scene requirements

It is very important that the scene was most optimized for faster rendering.
The object to which the material will be assigned must necessarily be named “Material_Object“. Name is case sensitive! Otherwise, the XSMP will not find the node to which the material will be assigned and an error will occur.
Use the same units that you created the material.
