Material ID Functionality


In addition to other features, the plugin provides functionality to utilize Material IDs. This is particularly useful when you need to apply different types of wood textures (e.g., oak and ash, mahogany and walnut) or create combinations of darker and lighter textures.

The plugin offers three predefined Material ID grouping options. Additionally, users have the flexibility to assign custom Material IDs to specific groups of polygons (faces) as needed.

Below are the predefined Material ID combinations designed for parquet patterns.

Material ID

Group 1 (A:B:C) - 1:1:1

Group 2 (A:B:C) - 1:2:2

Group 3 (A:B:C) - 1:2:3
